ICDA Cyber Risk Conference, London, July 20, 2016, kindly hosted by Holman Fenwick Willan
Cyber risk poses the greatest threat to orderly markets and clients. How do banks, exchanges, CCPs, traders, intermediaries and regulators meet the challenges on multiple fronts?
Cyber risk is overtaking all other forms of risk in the financial sector. It poses the greatest threat to orderly markets and represents a massive challenge for commodities and financial derivatives. Constantly evolving across the entire financial ecosystem, challenges faced by banks, exchanges, CCPs, traders, intermediaries and regulators will have to be met on multiple fronts. This ICDA conference follows a theme of huge interest and explores every aspect of the cyber risk threat to global industry players. Whatever your role in the business, you need to be aware of the risks posed, the likely responses both in terms of the way your business is managed as well as, crucially, the regulatory imperatives which will follow for the protection of all market players. As usual, we are focusing on business and management issues affecting members and followers of our Association.
